Governor Schwarzenegger Appoints Timothy Volkmann to Santa Cruz County Superior Court
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced the appointment of Timothy R. Volkmann to a judgeship in the Santa Cruz County Superior Court.
Volkmann, 54, of Santa Cruz, has served as a partner in the law firm Burton, Volkmann & Schmal LLP since 1997, formerly Gassett, Perry & Frank where he was an associate attorney and then partner from 1981 to 1997. Volkmann earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Robert Yonts Jr. Volkmann is an Independent.
The compensation for this position is $178,789.
