Unpaid internships are available to students during the spring, summer and fall semesters and quarters. The Governor's internship program provides an excellent opportunity to learn about state government and the political process. Internships last 10-16 weeks and approximately 40 interns are chosen each semester. |
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should be able to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Please read the office descriptions to help determine your area of interest.
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for an internship:
- Enrolled in an accredited US college
- 2.8 or higher GPA
- 18 years of age
Completed application, current resume, and letter of recommendation, must be submitted together to Jessica Ardaiz, Internship Coordinator, by the following deadline:
- Summer Semester/Quarter 2008 - Closed: Applications are no longer being accepted.
- Fall Semester/Quarter 2008 - Applications will be accepted beginning June 27, 2008 and will continue until all positions have been filled.
