Unpaid internships are available to students during the winter, spring, summer and fall semesters and quarters. The Governor's internship program provides an excellent opportunity to learn about state government and the political process.
Internships last 10-16 weeks and approximately 40 interns are chosen each semester.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should be able to work a minimum of 20-24 hours per week. Please read the office descriptions to help determine your area of interest.

Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for an internship:
- Enrolled in an accredited US college
- 2.8 or higher GPA
- At least 18 years of age
Completed application, current resume, and letter of recommendation, must be submitted together to Jessica Ardaiz, Internship Coordinator, by the following deadline:
- Spring Quarter/Spring Semester 2010 - We are now accepting applications and will continue to do so until all positions have been filled.
- SummerQuarter/Semester 2010 - Applications will only be accepted beginning March 1, 2010 and will continue until all positions have been filled.
